Fermain Bay
Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful of all Guernsey bays, Fermain sits on the east coast, south of St Peter Port. It is fairly wide, with tall cliffs at either end, and is reached in a vehicle by way of a steep, winding road.
It makes an excellent stopping off point when walking between St Peter Port and the Jerbourg Peninsular as the cliff paths lead down to it from either direction and then continue up the opposite side.
Fermain appears in book 1, Dead in the Water, as the location where Christine Le Page meets Ross Ferbrache of the Guernsey fire service, after Miles Bichard dispatched her to find out more about the fire in Marc Renouf’s house.
